Ujian Nasional SMP Tahun 2012 seperti yang sudah dijelaskan pada POS UN 2012 akan dilaksanakan pada 23 sampai dengan 26 April 2012. Dengan 4 mata pelajaran UN; Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Soal UN dirancang dalam 5 paket soal.
